Local Airports:
Murcia San Javier: The closest airport
to the resort is Murcia San Javier. Most airlines list it simply as
"Murcia". The airport itself is just outside of the coastal town of San
Javier and the total journey time to the apartment is a maximum of 15
minutes. Murcia San Javier is quite a small airport and extremely easy
to get in and out of with none of the massive queue's you get at the
likes of Alicante, Malaga etc. The car hire companies have their
offices in the main arrivals hall close to the baggage carousels so no
queueing outside in the baking sun.
Most of the low cost airlines now fly regular flights into Murcia from
the UK. The list below was correct at the time of writing (July 2007),

Alicante: The main
airport for the Costa Blanca is roughly 45 minutes drive north of
Murcia San Javier airport and around an hours drive to the apartment.
Again a lot of the low cost airlines have regular flights to Alicante
from the UK.
